Durban, South Africa
Surf Spots & Information

Beautiful, cosmopolitan, and totally littered with rad surf spots, Durban is definitely South Africa’s Surfing Capital. Durban surfing can be divided into two areas: the bluff and the Durban beachfront. Typically, the bluff picks up the majority of swell since it sits in the southwest swell window. Durban’s beachfront surf spots typically need a strong east swell to really start cranking. Both areas have a wide variety of points, reefs and beachbreaks that cater to all ability levels.
